I will introduce one of the most challenging theoretical topic in quantum computing: quantum error correction theory, and discuss some of my own contributions to this field.

Professor Lian-Ao Wu is a prominent theoretical physicist specializing in quantum information, quantum computing, and quantum control theory. He serves as an Ikerbasque Research Professor at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) in Leioa, Spain．

Academic Background

• Education: He earned his PhD in Physics in 1989 from Jilin University in China.

• International Experience: Prior to settling in Spain, he held research positions across elite scientific institutions in Canada, China, Japan, Europe, and the United States.
